Obituary:
Ruthanne Butler, 54, of West Stephentown died
October 21 in her residence after a long illness.
Mrs. Butler was born in Buffalo and lived in West
Stephentown for the past 26 years. She graduated as
a registered nurse from Albany Medical College.
Mrs. Butler was a member of St. Henry's Church,
Averill Park.
She is survived by her husband Anthony L. Butler;
six sons, Anthony J. Butler of Brooklyn, Petty
Office 1st Class Steven G. Butler of the Navy
stationed in Kings Bay, GA., Peter Butler of Jackson
Heights, Queens, Gregory R. Butler of Averill Park,
Seaman Apprentice Paul D. Butler of the Navy
stationed in Groton, Conn and Jonathan E. Butler of
West Stephentown; two daughters, Mary F. Butler of
West Sand Lake and Johanna M. Butler of West
Stephentown; her mother, Alice M. Barker of
Dolgeville, Herkimer County; two brothers Phillip G.
Barker of Oppenheim, Fulton County and Terrance
Barker of Herkimer, Herkimer County; four sisters,
Mabel Jean Boisvert of East Greenbush, Marylou
Countryman of St. Johnsville, Sharon Hall and
Florence Knapp, both of Oppenheim; and a grandchild.
Services were held Tuesday, October 22 at St.
Henry's Church. Burial was in St. Henry's Cemetery,
Averill Park.
Contributions may be made to St. Henry's Church,
Averill Park, N.Y. 12018. Arrangements are by the
Larkin Funeral Home, Averill Park.
